Reflection on the image and rights of people with disabilities in the mass media

Naturally, there is a connection between the life situation of certain categories of people, the legislation that comes to support their adaptation and respect for their rights, and the way in which these people are presented in the mass media. Looking back, at the way people with disabilities were presented in the media, we can add significant elements to the history of addressing the issue of the rights of people with disabilities. In this context, we consider it necessary to emphasize the importance of the media's attitude in shaping public opinion and society's position towards disability.
